Announcing Mending Division Academy
Plus, my recent television appearance discussing Israel and Hamas
I’m ecstatic to share something that has been under wraps for a while: the official launch of Mending Division Academy.
MDA is a collaboration between the folks at the American Values Coalition and several engaging Christian thinkers (and me) on some of today’s most challenging subjects. The video-based courses are perfect for church small groups, high school and college classes, families, groups of friends — the list goes on.
Here’s the lineup:
When Conspiracies Divide Us: Confronting Misinformation (Daniel Bennett)
When Polarization Divides Us: Confronting the Perception Gap (Austin Gravley)
When Crises of Faith Divide Us: Confronting Deconstruction (Ian Harber)
When Journalism Divides Us: Confronting Our Media Consumption Habits (Bonnie Kristian)
When Social Media Divides Us: Confronting Our Internet Habits (Chris Martin)
When Politics Divides Us: Confronting Political Idolatry (David Ritchie)
Here’s a clip from my course, in which I propose a better, healthier model of political engagement in a world flooded with misinformation:
These courses come with video lectures, discussion questions, and plenty of opportunities for reflection and action. I hope you’ll take a moment and explore these courses, and consider how MDA could be of service to your community.
Lastly, I was happy to join Northwest Arkansas’ ABC affiliate KHOG over the weekend to offer some perspective on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. I appear at the 2:05 mark here.
